Parking Parking is available at the Adelaide Bowling Club and opposite in Capper Street which runs along the side of Prince Albert College. Access If you are coming from Hackney Road and along Dequetteville Terrace, you can do a right hand turn into the bowling club just after Rundle Street traffic lights. If you miss the turn you will need to go up to the roundabout at the Britannia Hotel and come back down Dequetteville Terrace and then turn left (just after Bus Stop X1). Meals - From 6.00pm The Bowling Club is currently renovating its kitchen facilities and have arranged for a BBQ style meal to be available at a cost of $30. Those partaking in the BBQ will need to register and pay by no later than Monday 27th of June. We look forward to seeing as many as possible at this New Venue. The earlier starting time of 6:30pm will allow a brief meeting before a tour of the four workshops of Finch Restorations.  All workshops are easy walking distance from each other. Harbinda Roberts of Finch Restorations says, "The workshops include metal fabrication, panel repairs, paintbooth, preparation booth, mechnical workshop with a lathe, mill and other machining equipment, timberwork, motor-trimming and a design office with 3D scanner. There will be 30 or more vehicles to view, covering many diverse marques and models built over seven decades.  At this point in time we have a couple of Daimlers with another to come in. We will also be showing a SS100 replica that we are building and a body for a second SS100 replica and these are progressing well." The event will be catered for by the Register.  As COVID restrictions prevented Register Christmas celebrations, this event will now be Christmas in May! The Milang Regatta Club is purpose built with facilities including a bar, indoor and outdoor areas, tables and chairs for dining and a combustion heater.  The Club sits at one edge of a public park along the banks of Lake Alexandrina and is reportedly the oldest Regatta Club in South Australia.  We will hear more of its history on the day. Cars will be lined up in front of the Regatta Club and a grassed area overlooking the lake is available for individual photographs. Parking for non-Jaguar cars is available on nearby roads, within easy walking distance of the Regatta Club. Thanks to member, Vin Piscino for supplying the run to Milang.  A run sheet, including a road map will be emailed to all members.
