Face masks are required.  Peter has been constantly working on his XJ6 S1 and E Type roadster. Both are still in progress. hopefully it will be a warm evening and I'm sure there will be plenty to interest you. There are some Register updates that you are not aware of as yet and there is a run to Mannum with lunch organised for Sunday 20 March  The 60th Diamond E Type Anniversary event with the Victorians at The Barn, Mt Gambier is on from 29 April - 2 May 2022.  Those who are booked in should have received email updates. Run sheets will be given out on the morning before we leave and hopefully no-one will get lost! Please register through TidyHQ as usual by Saturday 26th February at the very latest so that I can confirm numbers, as both venues have asked for six days notice.  If you do register and find you are then unable to attend, please let me know as soon as possible as I have had to pay a deposit for each member attending (refundable on attendance). With the dissappointing news that the annual All British Day event has been cancelled, the JDCSA will be holding our Annual Presidents Picnic on that day, Sunday 13, February, 2022. At the National motor Museum. The arrangements will be the same as previous President Picnics. This is a BYO everything event, Food, Drinks, Chairs, Tables etc. A coffee van will be on site and of course the venues and facilities of the National Motor Museum and local cafes etc  will be open and available. NOTE: You are asked to arrive before 10.00am. to facilitate QR Code CHECK-IN at the gate.  Entry will be via the normal gate off Church Street. You will be permitted to leave at will. An informal, relaxed picnic atmosphere, no public address system, no loud music . . . .  only the gentle purring of the Jaguar. Bob Charman   COVID 19 Guidelines                       Prepared as a guide for Registers and Members attending an approved JDCSA event as of August 2020 Despite the fact that we are seeing very few cases of COVID-19 infection in SA, we are sure that everyone appreciates that it is prudent for us to have some guidelines in place for club events. We ask all participants to be vigilant and follow these guidelines. In addition to any guidelines we may have as a group you are asked to be sure to abide strictly to any rules, restrictions and or regulations that may be in place either by state government regulation or those rules and guidelines established by any venue you may visit during the course of this event. Event Guidelines 1.       If you feel unwell and have even the mildest of symptoms you must self-isolate and not attend this event.  If you have been ordered for any reason to self-isolate by the authorities, for the sake of your fellow club members and the community as a whole, you must stay home and not attend this event. 2.       It is imperative that we are all mindful and continue to practice physical distancing of 1.5 metres whilst maintaining strict personal hygiene. 3.      Please have in your car and/or in your possession appropriate hand sanitising liquid and use it frequently. 4.      It will still be best to avoid the traditional hand shake, hug or friendly kiss. 5.      Always be respectful of any requests and or restrictions that may be applied or required by venues you may be visiting. 6.      It remains mandatory for members to register via TidyHQ if intending to attend a club event. 7.      Where the venue or JDCSA provides a COVID Safe QR Code on entry to a meeting or event members are required to CHECK-IN using the code. Coffee and Chrome at Mannum. Meet at OTR Port Wakefield Road, Bolivar. Assemble at 8.30am for a 9.00am departure. driving to Mannum via Williamstown.  Car display at Arnold Park (where the ferry crosses the river) DUE TO COVID RESTRICTIONS, the short drive to Bronte and Don's home for a BBQ lunch has to be cancelled.
