Invitation to all 1946er Legends

On three separate occasions in the past a group of JDCSA members born in 1946, affectionately known, unofficially as, "The '46ers Club", have chosen to spend a weekend away with partners to celebrate our legend status.

We are planning to do it again. How could we not in this big year? 1946 - 2016 - 80 Years!

So here are the basic details  . . . . . enough for you to commit and formally REGISTER for this event.

This is a group booking: This site will give you a group discount of 15% on the room tariff. Prices escalate as the accommodation fills up so an early booking will achieve the best price.

Breakfast is available from 7.30am to 10.00am if you wish. Check and arrange when you Check In.

TRAVEL:

• 10.00am. We will meet for coffee on Friday 11, September,  at The Virginia Nursery (Cafe) - 99 Gawler Rd, Virginia, SA,

• 11.00am. We will leave for Clare, travelling in convoy. Stopping for lunch on the way.

• 12.30pm. Enjoy lunch at the Sevenhill Hotel - Main N0rth Road, Sevenhill SA

• 3.00pm.  Book in at accommodation - at the Clare Country Club

WEEKEND PLANS: (To date)

Specific plans at this stage are still to be finalised. A few basics are as follows:

Friday Evening   - 5.00pm. Happy Hour - Club Bar / Arrange your own meal if required.

Saturday            - 9.00am Clare Show Markets. More detail here: https://clareshow.com.au/markets/  Opportunity for Breakfast / coffee etc.

                       - 12.00pm. Lunch TBA . . . . Probably a Winery or such for a main meal for the day.

NOTE: We are hoping to be able to arrange a visit over the weekend to a Morris Museum and an Old Timers Restoration Workshop (Stay Tuned, more specific information will be posted).

As we get closer to the date final plans and arrangements will be clarified.
