2023 XK Mk7, 8 & 9 Register Border Run

Monday 23rd October to Friday 27th October 2023.

Strathalbyn, South Australia

Accommodation:  has been reserved at the Strath Motel, 4 North Parade, Strathalbyn SA 5255

Reservations can be made now.  All rooms are a flat rate of $159. Please reserve your accommodation direct with the Motel not on-line and identify yourself as part of the Jaguar Club booking.  (2 rooms with disabled facilities are available)

The Program:  Please check the detail of the proposed program as you will be required to register for the events you plan to participate in. Three events require an upfront payment.

Monday 23rd: Check in and make yourself comfortable.

• 5.00pm - Welcome Drinks in the Beer Garden of a local Hotel followed by dinner. (PAYG)

Tuesday 24th:     

•  8.30am - Local Tour - A day of short drives, Breakfast at the Finnis Roadhouse - Horseradish Farm stop - Light Lunch at the Lake Breeze Winery (Deposit required $10 p/p) - To top it off, optional activities of cheese, chocolate & wine tasting on the return journey to Strathalyn. 

• 6.30pm - Dinner at the Greenman Tavern, Ashbourne, a bus has been arranged at $15 per person (return) Please reserve your seat at time of your registration. (Limit 40 seats)

Wednesday 25th:

• Breakfast in your room or visit a local cafe,

• 10.00am. - We visit Gilberts Motor Museum & followed by a light lunch at Flo & Ada's Tea Room, 23a High Street, with antique shop visits or a garden tour. (PAYG)

• 6.00pm. - Dinner in a local Italian (Cafe Ruffino). (PAYG)

Thursday 26th: 

• 8.00am to 9.30am. - Breakfast at Hammer 'n' Tongs, 39 Commercial Road, Strathalbyn then a couple of options available, please select your chosen option when you register. 

• Option 1 - Picturesque drive to a farmhouse with lots of heritage items on display,

• Option 2 - A tour of Jurlique Beauty & Herb & fFower Farm at $30 per head.

• 12.30pm. - Lunch at the Longview Vineyard, Macclesfield, Pound Road (platter lunch & tastings) then return to Strathalbyn for a choice of a classic car dealership, art trail visiting local artists studios/galleries, walking trail along the Angas River,

• 6.00pm - Dinner, Farewell Drinks at the Terminus Hotel, 12 Rankine St, Strathalbyn (PAYG).

Friday 27th: Checkout & farewells.
